Kate&Jeremiah-New Hope Backyard Wedding

Small weddings, a few reasons why I love them. The couple is usually less focused on the details and more on the guests. They invite the most special people in their lives to be there with them to celebrate their marriage! The couple has way less to stress about.

Kate and Jeremiah got married at Our Lady of Guadalupe and then brought the party back to Kate’s parent’s house in New Hope, Pa. Since there weren’t any venues to worry about, or timelines to meet, Kate and Jeremiah were one of the most laid back go with the flow couples I’ve ever had!  We basically photographed the party as it took place and had a little chunk of time to capture just the two of them in her parent’s back yard!

Can we talk about the backyard though? It’s honestly the most amazing space ever. There was a beautiful patio where friends and family sat and chatted while eating small treats that came around for everyone to nibble on. A fire pit towards the back of the area had logs for everyone to sit on while they cozied up to the fire and listened to the music that the DJ was playing for the night.

The patio soon became the dance floor where the first dance took place, as well as Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances. Everyone was soon up and dancing under the string lights while busting moves to their favorite songs!

This wedding was so fun to document. I’m forever a fan of intimate backyard weddings, especially with couples as sweet as Kate and Jeremiah!
