Maddy & Janek-Lambertville NJ engagement session

Maddy and Janek are getting so close to their wedding date, so I figured it would be the perfect time to blog about their engagement session! These two met at Ortieb’s which is dive bar in Nothern Liberties. They sat for hours “talking” even though they later learned that they both had no idea what the other was saying since it was so loud inside. They now live about a block away and frequent there regularly!

These two had their session in Lambertville New Jersey, as well as New Hope Pa! They chose the locations because Janek grew up in Lambertville and the two of them spent lots of time together walking the canal path!

I love asking how the couple got engaged, and Maddy said that “It was the final day of our vacation to California. I had just woken up from a nap on the beach in San Diego, so I was completely stunned when I heard “The Wind” by Cat Stevens playing and saw Janek on one knee. ” These two love to travel and were actually going to Maine a week before Mark and I visited last year!

Adventuring with these two through out the canal path and through the wildflower preserve was so much fun! Most of the day was overcast but right at the end of their session a tiny bit of sun peeked through the clouds for the perfect little bit of golden hour!

I’m so excited for these two to make it official in April, it’s going to be the perfect spring wedding! Another question I love asking my couples is what they’re most excited for for their wedding day! Maddy said that the two of them are just excited to celebrate their love with friends and family!
