Nashville TN-Travel Diary

This summer, I took one of the best vacations ever. Mark and I travelled down to Nashville TN and I basically never wanted to leave. This is a photo diary from my trip down south! We stopped at Natural Bridge, VA the night before heading to Nashville to break the 12 hour journey into two parts.

We stayed at the most lovely little Airbnb, in Nashville, that I had been following on Instagram for quite some time. It was full of antiques and perfectly placed nicnacs. The hosts, Kaitie and Tyler were the sweetest. I even did a photoshoot of them at their own home with their pups (that post is coming soon)

I never wanted to leave the amazing back porch where mark and I frequently had dinner together!

Barista Parlor was one of the coffee shops that I visited a few times. I loved their decor and their coffees, we missed out on their bisquit breakfast sandwiches though…next time we’ll definitely have to wake up earlier!

Of course we had to stop at the I believe in Nashville mural. We wouldn’t be true tourists if we didn’t! Before going to the mural, I got to pick my own bouquet from Amelia’s flower truck! It’s honestly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen and had such an amazing assortment of flowers that I could barely narrow down my selection!

Nashville hot chicken was definitely on the list for what food we wanted to get when we were down there. Pro tip, order online from hattie b’s and take it to go so you don’t have to wait in a long line!

We also hit up some awesome antique stores which helped us expand our ever growing record collection!

Even though Memphis was a bit of a drive, I wanted to go to Graceland. We made it a day trip and ventured out to see the house and the museum! We got to tour the home as well as see his jumpsuits, cars and records!

We didn’t have enough time to do the full tour of Sun studios, but we did visit and it was pretty cool to go inside to where Elvis first recorded. I got a few souvenirs for family and friends from the little cafe/gift shop that was in the front!

If you go to Nashville, you have to go to Broadway at least once. Mark and I just went to see what it was all about. It was definitely crazy, but super cool hearing all of the different types of music being played in each bar.

On our last night, we went out to a local Japanese restaurant for Ramen and Sushi. We decided to keep it relaxed since we had to wake up super early the next day for our 12 hour drive home. We both never wanted to leave and are already planning our next trip back!!
